The Parties. The service provider is Hjulstad Media, address, registration number. Contact: hjulstadmedia@gmail.com. The customer is the business or individual who purchases an item or a service.

Copyright. All original text, photos, and audio used by Hjulstad Media falls under local copyright law. Unapproved sale or copying will be treated accordingly.

Payments. By purchasing services or items the customer is assumed to be 18 years of age or otherwise of legal standing. Hjulstad Media accepts payments with the following: bank transfer. The payment is drawn when the customer accepts the purchase.

Subscription Payments. Subscription payments are handled through Patreon. To cancel a subscription payment, view the platform’s guidance on cancelling subscriptions.

Products and Services. Hjulstad Media offers services such as web design, web management, visual design, writing, editing, translation, transcription, and courses in visual design and writing.

Depositum. When purchasing a one-off service, 50% of the fee must be paid before the work begins.

Remaining Sum. The remaining 50% of the fee must be paid within 30 days of the completed work.

Cancellation and Depositum. If a service is cancelled after the service provider has began the work, the depositum is non-refundable.

Physical Products. Hjulstad Media accepts sales, commissions, and projects on behalf of Katrine Hjulstad. Art pieces and other products can currently be shipped to the United Kingdom and Crown Dependencies. Listed prices to not include shipping fees or other associated costs.

Delivery. Physical products can take up to eight weeks to be delivered and is dependent on postal services. Online products and services will be delivered according to individual agreement with the customer.

Right of Withdrawal. For services, the right of withdrawal is 14 days from the day that the customer makes the initial payment. For physical products, the right of withdrawal is 14 days from the day that the customer receives the product.

Faulty Delivery. Regular complaint guidelines apply to products and services. Hjulstad Media asks the customer to get in touch as soon as possible if they discover a fault.

Limitation of Liability. Hjulstad Media is not to be held accountable if:

the customer does not provide required information or details;

the customer does not know how to use the website;

the customer does not know how to use the final product or service.

External Sources. Unless otherwise stated, all external sources on this website lead to independent articles. This means that it cannot be assumed that the service provider agrees with, tolerates, or accepts other content on the indicated websides.

Privacy Policy. Hjulstad Media handles the following types of personal information: basic information (name); contact information (address, phone number, email); payment information (record of transaction, delivery information, shopping, active products, products and services the customer has purchased).

Collection. Personal information is collected directly from the customer or generated when the customer uses the service provider’s products and services.

Use. Hjulstad Media uses the customer’s personal information to deliver services and products the customer has purchased; to administer customer relations through customer service, processing complaints, or faulty deliveries; to develop and improve services and products by analysing customer activity and customer history; to adapt communication to customer relations; to sell and market products and services (e.g. emails); to supervise systems for faults and problem during purchases; to protect the customer and the service provider against fraudulent activity, abuse, and criminal conduct; to comply with local account guidleines.

The Customer’s Rights. The customer can request a copy of all details Hjulstad Media has on them by email; the customer can request that the service provider adjusts or updates information that is incorrect or misleading; the customer can request that their personal information be deleted (note that information the service provider is legally required to retain won’t be deleted); the customer can request that the service provider limits the processing of their informations; the customer can notify the service provider if by email they believe that the service provider do not comply with local privacy policies.

Conflict Resolution. Hjulstad Media is in the process of becoming a Manx company and is subject to Manx laws. Complaints must be directed to Hjulstad Media within a reasonable time, see points 6 and 7. The parties must endeavour to resolve disputes amongst each other.
